The story

A practice built on relationships, not transactions.

Financial Foundations was founded on a belief that's rare in this industry: that good financial planning is, first and foremost, about people. Paul started his firm to build the kind of practice he'd want his own parents to walk into.

That means no rushed meetings, no canned recommendations, and no pretending markets are simpler than they are. It means sitting down, asking better questions, and building a written plan that connects every part of your financial life — your income, your taxes, your investments, and the legacy you want to leave.

Clients work directly with Paul. When you call, he picks up. When something changes — in tax law, the markets, or your life — your plan adapts with it.

What guides the work

Four things that don't change.

Relationships first

Plans are built between two people who trust each other — not between a client and a portal.

Education always

Paul teaches the 'why' behind every recommendation, so you can make informed decisions for life.

Plain English

No jargon, no fine-print surprises. If your plan can't be explained simply, it's not done yet.

Honest advice

Sometimes the best advice is 'don't.' We say it when it's true.
